Greensburg Salem Faculty District is continuing to revamp its central administrative roles as it seeks a coordinator of technology integration and university student details.
The board this week agreed to publicize the position, with a starting wage not to exceed $72,000.
It is a new just take on the latest position of director of information services, which has been held by Larry George.
The board accepted George’s resignation, effective Tuesday, following which he’ll get started operate as the new technological know-how director in the Derry Place Faculty District.
Derry Space hired George on Jan. 27 at a wage of $85,000.
As for the pupil details George’s successor will deal with at Greensburg Salem, Superintendent Ken Bissell mentioned, “We’re receiving a ton of technological know-how use, we’re getting apps and different plans that are connecting to our university student accounts.
“This will be anyone to coordinate that. That will be just one little portion of that place.”
As part of his duties at Greensburg Salem, George attended school board meetings, recording votes and setting up the board’s microphone procedure.
