HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Gov. Tom Wolf introduced Monday that Office of Wellness Performing Secretary Keara Klinepeter will resign her place with the commonwealth on April 22.
The Governor’s business suggests Klinepeter is picking out to resign to just take time to get ready for the birth of her initial baby in June.
Klinepeter was named Acting Secretary in December 2021 following the resignation of Alison Beam, who later joined UPMC as the hospital’s Vice President of Government Affairs and Main Government Relations Officer.
“Keara has been an asset to the Office of Overall health and the Wolf Administration all over the COVID-19 pandemic, giving required leadership and steering to get ready for the endemic section of the pandemic,” explained Gov. Prior to Acting Secretary, Klinepeter served as the Govt Deputy Secretary for the Division of Overall health and as Specific Advisor to the Secretary of Well being, wherever she worked thoroughly on the COVID-19 reaction and vaccine administration.
Klinepeter also served as the Director of Rural Wellbeing Innovation for the division, the place she was responsible for designing, applying, and increasing populace health initiatives that target on social determinants of overall health.
