How dates are selected
Suitable dates explicitly list the selected occasion as favourable, without a matching prohibition or an all-activities prohibition. Preferred dates also fall on a traditional Yellow Path day.
Burial matches 安葬; memorial ceremonies match 祭祀; gatherings match 会亲友 or 会友. Moving a coffin, enshrouding and mourning use their own traditional entries.
These are traditional calendar references, not a prediction or guarantee. Follow local requirements and the guidance of the family, faith community and funeral provider.
Sun signs use fixed calendar-date ranges, not a personal birth chart. Birthstones follow the selected month. These cultural references do not change the traditional date rating.
Calendar conventions and original entries
Dates follow the Chinese civil-calendar convention. The calculation uses the day-based solar-term boundary. Filters are not a personalised birth-chart reading. Different almanacs can disagree.
The monthly view covers 1900–2100; each search covers up to 366 days. Holiday labels are cultural observances, not official days off.
Complete traditional activity lists remain available in their original Chinese wording for reference.
