The quail is a breed of chicken bred through crossbreeding between the spotted partridge and the blue-breasted partridge over many years. It is the smallest chicken in the world and is also known as the mini chicken. So what is the incubation temperature for quail? Let's find out below.

What is the incubation temperature for rutin chickens?

The incubation temperature range for rutin chickens is 37.6-38.2℃. Rutin eggs can be placed in a suitable temperature incubator, and a heating pad or temperature controller can be used to maintain a constant temperature and promote incubation time.

Precautions for hatching Rutin chicken eggs

1. Time

Hatching eggs should be incubated for no more than 7 days, and the transport temperature should not be lower than 5 degrees Celsius. During the storage of hatching eggs, moisture inside the eggs evaporates continuously through the pores, and the rate of evaporation is inversely proportional to the humidity in the storage room. Generally, the relative humidity should be maintained at 75-80%, which can significantly slow down the evaporation of moisture inside the eggs and prevent mold growth.

2. Cleaning

Although freshly laid eggs may be a little dirty, the shell has a membrane that prevents bacteria from entering, so they should not be washed with water. When you receive the eggs, wash them with water to remove dirt, then wipe them with medical alcohol or disinfectant, and finally rinse them with water.

3. Egg flipping

Candling is performed on the 5th and 11th days after hatching, and the eggs are turned over from the 6th to the 12th day.

4. Humidity

During the early stage of hatching (days 1 to 5), the temperature should be around 38 degrees Celsius and the humidity 55% to 60%. During the middle stage (days 6 to 11), the temperature should be around 37.9 degrees Celsius and the humidity 50% to 55%. At a temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 60% to 70%, the rutin chickens will hatch at 16 days old. When hatching, be sure to soften the eggs.

5. Incubation

Rutin eggs hatch in 16 days, and are placed in a tray at 15 days old. After being placed in the tray, spray water frequently, 5-6 times a day. Place the hatched chicks in a corner and spray water on the unhatched eggs.
