This bread has recently gone viral online, but the original recipe only includes cheese, which feels like it's missing a little something in terms of texture. So, this recipe includes pork floss. One bite reveals the aroma of the pork floss, the softness of the bread, and the cheese crust mixed with sesame seeds—a truly rich and satisfying flavor that you can't stop eating. This recipe makes a large batch; two trays are needed for a 50L oven. If you don't have a convection oven, you can bake them one tray at a time, or simply halve the ingredients to make one tray.

How to make super popular golden pork floss and cheese breadsticks (Xiaomei version)

Add milk, milk powder, sugar, and yeast to the Thermomix and mix for 30 seconds at speed 3 until smooth.

Add flour and mix for 30 seconds at speed 3-6 to initially combine. Then select the kneading mode for 4 minutes.

Add salt and softened butter, and knead for 4 minutes.

Smooth the dough, place it in the oven at 40℃, add a bowl of hot water next to it, and let it rise until it doubles in size.

If you poke a hole with your finger dipped in flour and it doesn't shrink back noticeably, it's a good sign.

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions, each weighing approximately 80 grams. Roll each portion into a ball, then slightly elongate it. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Take a dough ball and roll it out into a long shape.

Roll it out into a rectangle, flatten the bottom with your fingers, and squeeze salad dressing on top.

Add pork floss

Roll it up from top to bottom.

Roll the dough to about 35cm in length, place it on a baking tray, and let it rise until it doubles in size. When placing it, hold it by both ends and stretch it slightly to make it stand very straight.

Brush with egg wash.

Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese

Squeeze on some salad dressing, and sprinkle with sesame seeds if you like.

Preheat oven to 180℃ for 20-25 minutes in a conventional oven or 160℃ for 20-25 minutes in a convection oven. After 18 minutes, check the surface color carefully; remove from the oven when desired to prevent burning. Soft, fragrant bread with a rich texture is ready!
