3. Loam
Loam is a type of soil between sandy soil and clay soil. It has good air permeability, water retention and fertility, and is suitable for planting various crops such as apples , pears, grapes, corn, wheat and rice.
4. Sandy loam soil
Sandy loam is a soil type between sandy soil and loam. It has good drainage and aeration, and its water retention capacity is better than that of sandy soil. It is suitable for planting some drought-resistant crops that do not have high nutrient requirements, such as corn, soybeans , peanuts, and sunflowers.
5. Clay soil
Clay soil is a type of soil with fine particles and poor permeability. It is suitable for planting crops that have high water requirements but low nutrient requirements, such as rice, wheat, potatoes, and onions.
