Calves, also known as calves, are prone to various problems due to their incomplete growth and development. For example, calves may have white, watery stools. So, what medicine should be used for calves with white, watery stools? Let's find out below.
1. Antibacterial oxytetracycline
For calves that have white, watery stools, administer oxytetracycline at a dose of 15-35 mg/kg body weight via intramuscular injection, twice a day for three consecutive days.

2. Gentamicin Injection
For calves that have white, watery stools, gentamicin injection can be used at a dose of 1000-1500 units per kilogram of body weight, three times a day, via intramuscular injection.
3. Fluid replacement
When a calf has loose, white stools, replenish its fluids and electrolytes promptly, and warm the rehydration solution. The amount of fluid to replenish depends on the degree of dehydration; in principle, replenish the same amount of water lost. If the calf has an appetite and can suckle on its own, oral rehydration salts can be used. If it cannot suckle on its own, 5% glucose saline or 1000-1500 ml of compound sodium chloride injection can be administered intravenously.

4. Dichlorvos
If a calf is having white, watery diarrhea, you can feed it veterinary trichlorfon at a dose of 25 ml per kilogram of body weight. If the condition is more serious, you can also administer 0.5 ml of atropine sulfate and 5% vorimidazole hydrochloride injection, at a dose of 6 ml per kilogram of body weight, twice a day via intramuscular injection.
5. Regulates the digestive system
If a calf has loose, white stools, you can first regulate its digestive system. You can mix 2 grams of lactic acid and 20 grams of ichthammol with 90 ml of water, and administer 5 ml orally to the calf 2-3 times a day. Alternatively, you can give the calf oral protectants and adsorbents, such as 5-10 grams of bismuth nitrate, 50-100 grams of kaolin, and 10-20 grams of activated charcoal.
