The aroma of coconut bread fills the house! Coconut bread is so good! Here are the steps to make it.

First, prepare the necessary ingredients. Pour the dough ingredients (except for butter and salt) into the stand mixer bowl.

After mixing slowly until a dough forms, switch to medium-high speed for kneading.

Knead until it can be stretched into a thick film.

Add softened butter and salt and mix slowly until absorbed, then switch to medium-high speed and knead.

The dough was placed in a proofing box and fermented until it doubled in size.

Divide the dough into 9 portions, round them, cover with plastic wrap, and let rest for 15 minutes.

To make the coconut filling, mix egg yolks with granulated sugar and milk powder until smooth.

Pour in the shredded coconut and mix well.

Pour in the softened butter and mix well.

Divide the shredded coconut into 9 portions and refrigerate.

After the dough has rested, flatten it and wrap it around the coconut filling.

Take a piece of dough and roll it out, making it as large as possible.

Fold the dough to both sides.

Repeat the same steps for all samples, placing them on a baking tray and then proofing them in a fermentation box at 36 degrees Celsius.

Ferment until doubled in size, then brush the surface with egg wash.

Place in a preheated oven and bake at 190 degrees Celsius (top heat) and 180 degrees Celsius (bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Every oven is different, so the baking time and temperature are for reference only!

After baking, gently tap the baking tray to cool before serving!
