Many recipes online vary, but after trying them a few times, I found this to be my favorite and wanted to write it down. Firstly, it suits my and my family's tastes—not too sweet or cloying. Secondly, although it's a very simple recipe, there are a few things to keep in mind ⚠️ It's easy to make a mistake if you're not careful (of course, even if it's a mistake, it'll still taste delicious 😋 Being careful makes it even smoother). PS: I used a 6-inch mold.

Prepare all ingredients (one egg is missing from the picture). ⚠️ If the egg and heavy cream have just been taken out of the refrigerator, be sure to let them sit for a while! Adding them to the cheese mixture at room temperature will prevent lumps (and make it smoother).

Soften a whole box of cream cheese (240g) in a double boiler.

Add 45g of sugar in small amounts several times, stirring well.

Add one egg yolk and two whole eggs in sequence, and mix well.

Add 150g of heavy cream in small batches, stirring constantly until well combined.

Add 18g of cornstarch (I forgot to take a picture), and continue mixing until smooth. The cake batter is now almost ready.

I strongly recommend sieving the mixture (twice) for a smoother, silkier texture.

Line the bottom of the cake pan with parchment paper and smooth it out (it doesn't have to be perfectly smooth, the point is to create a casual look). Pour in the cake batter and tap it to release any air bubbles (my batter already had some small lumps because I didn't add enough heavy cream at the beginning, so I added some cold heavy cream 😭 Remember, it should be at room temperature!!!).

Preheat the air fryer to 180℃ for 20 minutes (I didn't take a picture when I put it in, this is what it looks like after 20 minutes).

Cover with aluminum foil and bake again at 180℃ for 10 minutes. Check the color to see how it turns out.

After cooling to room temperature, refrigerate for 4 hours to overnight, and it's ready!

Ding ding ding! A dent is a good sign!

Make sure the heavy cream and eggs are at room temperature before adding them to the cake batter, otherwise small lumps will form! The preparation process is quick, but you need to wait 4 hours for it to sink in before it tastes good! Deliciousness requires patience 😋
