Halloween Cocoa Cheese Cream Puff Recipe Steps

Prepare the puff pastry: Soften the butter, add the dry ingredients and mix well. Divide into 9 portions and refrigerate until needed.

2. Prepare the filling: Mix egg yolks with powdered sugar until smooth. Heat milk and pour it into the egg yolk mixture in two batches, mixing well after each addition. 3. Sift in the dry ingredients and mix well, then sift again. Return to heat and cook until set and smooth.

4. To make the cream puffs: Boil milk, water, and butter for 1 minute. 5. Pour in the sifted dry ingredients and mix until there are no dry lumps. 6. Return to the oven, stir, and heat for half a minute. Let cool for 5 minutes.

7. Add the egg mixture to the batter in 3 batches and mix well. The final consistency should be such that when you lift the batter, it forms an inverted triangle. 8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, then pipe onto a baking sheet. Flatten the pastry and cover with the batter. 9. Preheat the oven to 165°C (top) and 190°C (bottom) and bake for 28 minutes.

Cut an opening, fill with custard, decorate with chocolate to resemble a witch's puff, and enjoy!
