Oreo Salted Cream Puff Recipe Steps

Soften the butter at room temperature beforehand, then pour all the puff pastry ingredients into a container.

Mix well

Roll out the dough using parchment paper and freeze it for at least 20 minutes.

Cut out circles from the frozen puff pastry using a 5.5cm diameter mold.

Carve 12

Except for the eggs and flour, put all the other ingredients for the cream puffs into a non-stick pan and bring to a boil over low heat. Turn off the heat.

Add cake flour and mix well.

After mixing until there is no dry flour left in the dough, stir over low heat for another 2 minutes to gelatinize the dough.

First, add two eggs and whisk them until smooth. Then, whisk the third egg into a liquid and add it in batches. I didn't even use all of the third egg, so be careful here. Eggs vary in size, so you'll need to monitor the consistency as you go.

Beat until it forms a smooth, inverted triangle shape that doesn't drip when lifted with a spatula, then transfer it to a piping bag.

Pipe the cream puffs onto a baking sheet. The cream puff filling should leave visible lines when piped out; if it doesn't, it's too runny.

Puff pastry on top

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 170 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not open the oven door during baking, otherwise the puffs will collapse. Spray the surface of the puffs with water before baking to prevent them from bursting.

Slowly expand

It will be ready when the time is up.

No need to remove the cream filling from the Oreos, just crush them directly. Whip the heavy cream with sugar and salt until stiff peaks form, then fold in the crushed Oreos until well combined. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag.

Once the cream puffs have completely cooled, poke a hole in the surface with chopsticks, pipe in Oreo salted cream, and you can eat them right away! If you can't finish them, you can freeze them to make ice cream.
