How to use a rooting agent made from brown sugar and yeast?
1. Preparation method
Ingredients: 250g brown sugar, 25g yeast, and approximately 230kg water. First, dissolve the brown sugar and yeast in 2kg water to cultivate microorganisms. After about a day and a night, add 230kg water and approximately 230g potassium dihydrogen phosphate. Stir thoroughly and then water the transplanted crops to promote faster root growth.
2. Working principle
Brown sugar contains nutrients such as amino acids, zinc, and iron that can be absorbed by crops. When yeast enters the soil, it promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria, forming a beneficial flora that crowds out harmful bacteria, thus improving the root environment. Furthermore, the fermentation of brown sugar and yeast in the soil releases heat, effectively raising the soil temperature and promoting root growth.
3. How to use
Generally, it can be used to irrigate the root system after transplanting when the plants are thinned out; 200-300 grams per seedling is sufficient. This can speed up the seedling establishment process and promote more developed root systems. It can also be applied as a root drenching or foliar spray during the fruit enlargement period, which not only prevents flower and fruit drop but also promotes fruit enlargement.
